The Role of BAs throughout the Project and Business Analysis Life Cycles with Guest Speaker Abdallah Abi-Aad

In this presentation we will cover the role, skills, competencies, and tools required by the Business Analyst in the various phases of the Business Analysis and Project Lifecycles:
- The role of the Strategic Business Analyst who will help the executive management team to define the strategic vision, mission, goals and objectives of the organization.
- The role of the Business Analyst who will help the Senior Management Committee to define and manage the Project Portfolio.
- The role of the Business Analysts who will provide the executive leadership team and the tactical teams with the information, processes, tools, and capability to meet the organizational goals and objectives.
About the Presenter:
Abdallah Abi-Aad, M.Eng., CBAP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, is a Senior Project Management expert and Senior Business Analyst with over 30 years’ experience in Information Technology and Telecommunications.
He possesses an extensive background managing projects in software development, system implementation and operation, telecommunications and network technologies. Abdallah has held senior management and consulting positions in private industry and with numerous Federal government departments, including: Health Canada, Public Works, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Canadian Heritage, Public Safety, Industry Canada Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), and Court Administration Service.
His areas of expertise include Organizational Change Management, Business Transformation, Project Management, Portfolio Management and Organizational Governance. Abdallah is also a professional Project Management and IT/Telecom trainer.
